St. Luke's has a long history in Berry...

We began meeting in the old school house in 1873. After many requests, Broughton Creek's landlord, David Berry, granted land for the building of a church on the south-eastern corner of the new town. Work on the church began in 1884 and the completed building was opened on 23rd April, 1885.

God's people gather in the same building today for Sunday and weekday services. Each service has a unique style and character in keeping with the wide variety of people in our town, but at the heart of each is the preaching of God's word, and our response in prayer, praise and obedient living.

Our members meet together through the week in bible study, prayer and fellowship groups to grow in our knowledge and understanding of Jesus, to care for one another, and to serve our community and our world in Christ's name.

Everyone is welcome.
